Good point well made but I'll not be able to use the putter after the wife has carefully inserted it somewhere painful about my person if I even suggest it

It's certainly a grip that would keep the hands quiet during the stroke.

I've played the last few Christmas Days. Drop Mrs Shark off at the local Salvation Army where she volunteers. Junior Shark stays at home playing her computer games. I get 18 holes, come home to get the dinner started and then pick up Mrs Shark when the turkey is in. Everyone is happy and I get more golf. Result.

Thanks for all the replies. Hadn't even thought of TeeOffTimes to be honest, but have had a look on there and there are a couple of local courses that seem to be open. Thanks again
