Cink's doing his usual Ryder Cup hole it from everywhere trick again. Can't help but admire his play. Other than him there's no obvious star on day one though.
I think Harrington had a rough day (despite all my posts saying he'd be fine - cheers for that Paddy) and McIlroy looked a little off the pace. I think the break helped the US as they had time to regroup. Certainly the first three US pairs out in the rain were struggling but Westwood in particlar looked great.
Conversely the break tonight might help us. I don't think Harrington will be as bad tomorrow and think the others will go back out pumped up and ready to rock
