Thanks to all who commented on my query re Mizuno X-25 and Ping G10 . . I'm going for Mizuno as they look and feel good, the Ping looks a bit 'bulky' when looking down on them . . I'll update on how I go at Carnalea . .

my brother in law was looking at the g10's and g5's and thought the same, so he ended up with i5's as they are slimmer.

Had a go with them and must admit i thought they where poor, well poor for me.

I5's are made and blessed by the hand of God himself. I will not hear another bad word heard about them in this thread! ;)

I5 + I10's have a thinner topline and narrower sole, they are meant to be more of a lower handicap players club.

You are correct Parmo.
