Chipping, wristy or stiff wristed?

Just been out on the practice chipping green again and hit lots of 8-iron chip shots to within 2 or 3 feet of the hole with the above technique. Something I haven't been able to do for years! Just hope it works under pressure out on the course! :mmm:

My view is that in the golf stroke is nothing should ever be stiff.

Stiff, suggests tension, which is never good in golf regardless of shot.

You can keep the wrists passive but not stiff.

Personally, I prefer to set the angle at address and keep my wrists passive and simply play something akin to a putting stroke.
