Chicken Tikka

I went to Lidl (on the way to buy a number plate bulb) and bought some sauce.

I got the wrong one! :D :D

It'll be fine, no doubt.

I also left with some Cien brand Apricot and Almond shower gel. Don't suppose I'll see much of that before the girls get hold of it from my shower-stuff shelf in the bathroom.

Someone likes to nick my razors too.....it's a mystery.

Officially stuffed now. Chicken tikka masala (can't beat an old fav) pillau rice, plai naan 6 poppadums (and the pickle tray) onion bhajis. One more wafer thin mint sir?

Your blood sugars will be rocketing after that lol

Andy

Of down our local Indian tonight with HID , Chicken Pathia ,mushroom rice and a keema naan ,cant wait for tomorrow for the "Ring of Fire" que Johny Cash ,burn burn burn my rings on fire ,my rings on fire :o :D

Once in a blue moon for me these days but yes the blood count two hours after eating was up at 11/7 (suppose to be 6.5 or lower). Fortunately it got back to normal today and apart from a heavy bloated feeling from eating too much no Bonanza maps to report.

I defy anyone to say that they "LIKE" Vindaloo. The spices make it too hot to taste the food. I just don't get it.
I think there is a lot of bravado with it with groups going out and trying to outdo each other.

Disagree with that. Maybe i've killed my palate but i've got to the stage where anything other than a vindaloo just tastes like chicken in a flavoured sauce. No "heat" involved at all, which is the whole point of a curry in my book.

I do like peppers though so once in a blue moon i'll have a jalfrezi.

Need to try proper curry houses. You haven't eaten one until you've eaten in Bradford, curry capital of the world.
Southern curries must be milder ;)

If you "enjoy" a vindaloo it must be down to the wax that you pour down your throat to coat your gizzard.

I like "hot" but they are just NOT enjoyable

Hottest thing I've ever eaten was a Pizza we got delivered to work one day. Mexican spicey it was and was loaded with minced beef and we sweated our nuts off eating it. The other two lads gave up.....gannet here pigged the lot
;) ;) ;)
