OK... you need to put a club down on the ground for aligning your feet properly so that your alignment remains ONLINE and consistent at all times.

Stand behind the ball and look towards the target, that is your target line. Take a step left...that will be your feet line (parallel to the target line) put a club down and use it as a guide. all that shuffling around clearly won't be helping.

Be aware of this angle I've marked here.

Your hands need to hang ALMOST straight down, 4 or 5 inches away from your thighs, less with shorter clubs. This will help you take the club away correctly and also help the club arrive at the ball on an inside path. It will also stop you sitting back on your heels.

Note that your takeaway is outside the line which may end up in a pull or a slice. You say you struggle with this so that may be the reason in my opinion. You will notice in the video that if you draw a line along your feet. The way you take away the club is outside the line of feet by a decent amount. Hope this helps. :)

thanks for the advice guys, got a few things to work on at the range in the next few weeks :)

justoneuk, about my hands hanging straight down, i am alot taller than the player in your other picture, i am 6"2/6"3 (i have had my clubs slightly lengthened by my pro).

will i not have to get closer to the ball when i bring my arms more inward? this seems to be the only solution to bring my arms more inward, as i wont be able to reach the ball. and if i was to get closer to the ball i cant see my distance being far enough from the ball to hit a 5 iron as in my video.

you are definately reaching for the ball m8,you need to move closer to the ball by 2 inches, this is one of the big reasons for your slice are you are swinging across the the line of the swing.
I am also taller, 6'1" so am told that it is better to bend your knees slightly rather than reach(check out stewart cinks set-up).
Hope this helps!

Yes you will be closer to the ball but maintain the shaft angle. Arms hanging naturally will promote a longer more controllable swing which in turn will result in more distance and a straighter shot, at the moment you are reaching far too far forward of where you should be.

Learn to hold the finish until the ball has landed with all shots including bad ones.
If the side on view is correct it looks like the ball position is to far back (about 2 inches) and your hands are well forward effectively turning the 5 iron into a 3 and the ball position looks inconsistent.
Sounds like good ball striking though!
Posture is very important and as a rule you should feel as though you are reaching a tad with the driver and feel snugged up to a wedge with the mid irons in between, the distance from your privates to the end of the shaft should be approximately the width of your hand at address.
Try to get your weight onto the balls of your feet and try to keep your height at address rather then reaching out to far.
But my top tip would be have a lesson asap and or get a instructional book or video.
The fundamentals are the majority of hitting a good golf shot so get them right before to many swing faults creep in.
All the best.
