Cheaper for members?

My club offers a discount to members on food and drink if they pay using their membership card.

Both bars are open to everyone, as are the car parks.

Members do have their own locker/changing room, which is accessed via the main locker/changing room. Personally I have no problem with that as I tend to just use the main one anyway to change my shoes. Lockers are available to visitors for a small refundable fee.

In all I feel my club is very welcoming to visitors.

We have
no members only car park
No members only changing rooms
No members only bar
And no members only areas

The only benefit we see as members is discounted food/drink/pro shop spend if you produce your members levy card. This is a subtle way of rewarding members without alienating visitors... IMHO it works well.

We're similar except we get no pro shop discounts with our card. It's a captive market in there and you either pay his prices or you don't buy the stuff. We only advertise one set of prices for food and drink and you only get the discount on production of a card. I don't see why it should alienate visitors. When I go to other clubs I expect to pay full price for food and drink. No different I think to going to a pub. It has to be a benefit for members only and if you paying the significant amounts for fees that some on here do, you'd expect a little bit back from the club in terms of discounted food and drink

20% off all food and drink for us plus discounts on just about everything else such as the pro shop, half price carts, cheap/free rounds on the Brab and all sorts, we do really get looked after :D
