Cheap trolley ?

don't get a cheap trolley.

cheap trolleys break (axle first time, handle the second) leaving you with a carrybag and broken trolley to lug back.

Anyone mentioning a b****y Go-Kart gets a virtual kick right up the jacksy! :p :p

£12.50 :)

I've got a quality one you can have for £30. Decent 2 wheeler, sturdy too!
Trouble is, it can't be posted (I wouldn't have thought)
Cheap ones are normally rubbish.
I have about 3 in my shed......all working, but not recommended.

In fact I have 5 trolleys all in all....

anyone reccomend me a cheap trolley, dont really want to spend more than £50 as not gonna use it that much.

Geezer, I know it's a bind but spend the money on a decent trolley. I bought one for <£20 from Golf World at Sidcup and on one of it's very first outings the strut that supports that wheel gave way!! Smiffy, JustOne and Golfmmad were with me at the time so not too embarassing....

Amazingly, it's still going now but before every round I have to pray to the God of trolleys and ask for another 18 holes out of the contraption....

I'll tell you what, as I'm a nice bloke, I've got an old Titleist trolley in the garage (I think....), you can have that. I'll look in the garage and let you know....

Don't tell everyone though, I don't want people knowing that a Palace God like myself has helped out a Millwall man.... :o

I bought a cheap trolley several years ago and don't see the cost of the trolley as the main problem.

I think the main thing to look for is the construction where the legs meet the main section and to check that the joint is going to hold up. Some cheap trolleys seem incredibly weak in this area.

The other thing to check is that most trolleys have a wire stay which is under tension between the two legs - some of these seem really really poorly attached to the legs.

I think if you can find a trolley that has a good joint and a solidly connected wire stay, then they should last a long time.

In the end, I bought a slazenger trolley from JJB sports for 30 ish pounds and it has lasted over 3 years and many many rounds. It meets both of the above requirements.

The one I bought is similar to but not quite the same as this one:
