I cant believe the outpouring for good old Harrington?
It was a nice gesture and some dosh went to charity,simple, isn't that all that matters? I dont think it matters either way that he is rich, famous or away from home a lot. I am grateful for any decent efforts for charity from anyone, but I have absolutely ZERO sympathy for his chosen lifestyle, nor do I care that he is rich and famous, he deserves no more or less thanks from any charity than anyone who dips in their pocket or gives their time for a good cause, though there are those who give far more of themselves and % of their wealth to charity than any of the rich and famous ever do, partly due to logistics of their lives and partly because some are tight arses who dont really care and who only do the odd charrity thing to pasify their guilt and/or gain support. Is Harrington one of those, I dont know? On this subject I really dont care, good on him for helping out but I'm not going to like him any more or less because of it.
