I managed to pick up a lovely Scotty Cameron newport 2. I also have a black KBS shaft coming to put in it. Which should set it off nicely.

Do I need to use Shafting Beads? My instinct says no, it's just a putter. But searches elsewhere throw up all sorts of answers.

I have just bought a black kbs shaft for my putter also today, add to it the superstroke puttter grip and it’s almost the cost of a new putter. Damm you eBay for making me buy things?

Having read the thread above my instinct would be if you have bought the right diameter shaft for the hosel then no.

One of the things about putter hosels is that they are very shallow compared to an iron head hosel so a shim would probably be too long if it should be .370 and you have bought a .355 which will require some sort of padding out.
