CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINAL DRAW:

Villarreal v Arsenal
Manchester United v FC Porto
Liverpool v Chelsea
Barcelona v Bayern Munich

Is the chelsea draw a fix? But what a draw for Arsenal, being a gooner my self I am pretty happy :D but if we can only just beat Hull, dubiously, Villarreal are goning to be tough opposition.

Good that we've got rid of Barca or Bayern.

Being ManU, obviously I want them to win, but if they don't any English team winning has got to be good.
Could still be all English final.

I think you will see a very different attitude from Arsenal in the CL. They won't be a push over, and I would expect a good couple of games. Fab will be back for the second leg at least, maybe Adebayor (defo not Rosicky). Pity Arshavin is cupu tied.

Chelsea / Liverpool again is just funny. It was kind of inevitable.

I think it is a good draw.

Just wondered why you thought it might be a fix? I'm suspicious of these ''draws'' myself and was worried that we'd have two all English ties. My prediction is Arsenal, United, Chelsea and Barcelona in the semis.

Fixed your post, I remember the semi final a couple of years back...zzzzz

And shanker, you don't honestly believe that these draws are fixed do you?

This time last year we had a post on the same topic and one of the posters reported that the Liverpool Echo had received a message predicting the draw 3 hours before it took place. Coincidence or good guessing, maybe. Blatter hates the English and you can take it from me that the Spanish loathe you, too. It may be unlikely but stranger things happen.

So Sepp Blatter who is the head of FIFA, the international football association, allegedly doesn't like one nation. So he rigs the draw for the champions league to try and prevent an english clubs winning?

Hahahahahaha

At least Chelsea will knock the scousers out although it is always funny seeing the players get robbed by there own supporters while they are on away matches

MVP, nice to know that you have a balanced view on all things football related, and an ability to express yourself so eloquently.

Typical Tottenham. Your season is made only if Arsenal don't win anything, never mind what happens to Spurs. How about supporting your team, and not looking over your chippy shoulder at others who are doing ok.

anyone who thinks Chelski will knock us out is dreaming. We're supreme in Europe and will get through by the odd couple of goals.

Providing neither of Torres or Gerrard get injured.

as a regular liverpool match goer and away matches i have to say this competition is getting boring. the same teams in the group stages most of the time and in the knockout.

another 'exciting' trip to stamford bridge awaits with them waving thier plastic flags! yippeee!

To be honest i hope you maul Chelsea, despise them & their glory hunting fans.

Like i say though,if either of those 2 get injured, especially Gerrard, you'll lose the tie.

Chelsea have played Liverfool 23 times in 5 seasons - so i agree it's getting a bit repetitive.....and yet Man Ure have never drawn another English PL team in the CL ( excepting last years Final which doesn't really count)

Think the only weak team left imo is Porto - who drew them now ? - and Arsenal have got their work cut out as Villareal are a very decent side - quick , slick passing , quite similar to L'Arse themselves.

Can't wait now for April to arrive :)
