CDH number and handicap has changed

I moved clubs 4 months ago and recently noticed on how did I do that my home club was still set to my previous club. I removed this and chose Worsley as my new club, but when I did this my CDH number changed from 101360036 to 1006916502 and my handicap went down from 16.4 to 12.2.

Also on the intelligent golf app we use at worsley when I select my handicap it tells me “unable to display handicap record for a player not linked to WHS”.
but the England golf app is still correct.

No idea what has happened I’ve sent it to the club secretary but he didn’t seem too sure. Can anyone shed any light on why this has happened and how to fix it?

Your new club doesn't use howdidido, so you cannot use it any more (seems there was another Anthony Nicholls at Worsley a few years ago - unless you were a member previously - and this is what you are now seeing there).

As for Intelligent Golf, it sounds like Worsley need to link your account on their system with WHS (I'm not sure exactly how this is done in IG as we use a different system) - possibly to do data permissions (GDPR) or mismatched/missing date of birth and/or email address.
 
Your NEW club is the one you should be contacting. But have the details of your old CDH when you do so. It's possible (unlikely though) that there's somone with the same name as you already at your new club.

How did you do this? Via HDID or IG. Did you do it personally or the club secretary from your new or old club? What is showing on the WHS portal?

Thanks mate, there was another Anthony Nicholls there when I joined but he has left now. I’ve informed the club secretary of this so hopefully he can sort it out
 
Hi Anthony, you moved from Ellesmere, where your CDH was 1013600036, we (Ellesmere) accepted a transfer request from Worsley on 21/12/21. Your handicap is showing as 16.4 The other number is a rogue one clearly.

Just out of interest, why did you move?
