Cat 3 Welcomes Fragger

With Imurg on Holiday and still licking his wounds from last week, I played with CVG and also got the pro shop to stamp up an official supplimentary card.

No pressure then
85 strokes later (New PB) and 42 points later I should be getting 1.7 trimmed off my handicap to take me to 19.2

I have texted Imurg with the figures, but left off the supplimentary card bit, Ill tell him when he starts to get all wound up.

Its hard work getting your handicap down, Ive just shot net 6 under par (5 under sss) and it only comes down 1.7

And I still left a good half dozen out there, I should have been looking at a sub 80 round.

CVG played really well too for 36 points

Exceptional scoring, put in a couple of low rounds in the space of a few and you get an adjusted cut greater than usual - happened to me so it is true!

So last week in a social game I scored 41 points, 87 shots,off 20.9 hcp. should I inform them, or is it only comps and supplimentarys that count?

Afraid not, social games don't count and you can't (to my knowledge) enter a supplementary without pre-authorising it, so I'm afraid you'll just have to find it in comp - sounds doable

Nice one, didn't know how it was worked out exactly. One thing I'd look out for is the HowDidIdo/course system keeping up to date. When mine was applied the computer system at the club had a higher h/c than HDID, they got confused for a while before it was sorted and it hadn't just happened to me at the club either so just make sure everything tallies if it happens.

back in April when my handicap was 23, i put in another supplimentary which was 4 under sss, that got me reduced to 20.9, score of 88

So its possible that they will take that score into account and hopefully cut me a bit more

Depends on how many qualifiers/Supplementaries between your April round and your latest effort. Sequence of : 4 or less = 1 shot, 5 to 9 = 0.5 shot, 10 or over = no change.
