Car dealer "VIP" events

I took a quick look at coast2coastcar.co.uk and looked like they were getting to c.16% discount (without options).

Have you considered a BMW 440i? You would be able to get about 25% off the list price of that.

When I was getting my new car, I took prices from coast2coastcars to my BMW dealer and asked them to beat it (which they did). Afterall, the coast2coastcars and carwow prices include their fees too, so there's always a little bit more to be had.

EDIT: To answer the original question, VIP special events won't get you a better price than internet brokers in my experience.

I am that important they don't know if my car is paid for or on PCP or whatever it is. Oddly enough I bought the car from brand ( seat Leicester ) new when Missis T went on a website similar to wowcar. I got a stonker of a deal. So not convinced the VIP event would be that good.
 
I've been invited to my local MINI dealer for a launch. My invite is as a platinum VIP. My connection to the dealer is that I bought a dipstick from them :rofl:
