Captains day

Today was captains day. A best 2 of 3 bowmaker off the back tees.3/4 handicap so as i am an 11 handicapper i played off 8. I was playing with my friend and his dad and we got 82 points as a team which i though was very good. I carded a 76 . The par is 70. We got into the clubhouse as leaders. Then one team came in with 83 we said fair play and accepted we may get second which was still excellent. Then someone comes in with 82points like us. Count back. They beat us on count back. Now we were third. . Then another team came in with 83. We came 4th. Prizes were given out to 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Bad lucky feary but anyone whose age and handicap are just into double figures has little to worry about!
