Cape Verde holiday

Has anyone any experience.
We are looking to go in January.
2 adults 2 children.
It seems like a newish destination.
The island of Sal looks favorite

My friends have been there three times in the last two years - they love it there that much

Not sure the exact island but they say it's a perfect holiday at a great price - lots to do for kids in the hotels and lots of good night entertainment.
