I just think that using your approach in tandem with some of the other approaches on short game etc would serve you well. However, you seem blinkered to everything else bar smashing the ball as far as you can.

Even when you get shirty, still people with 30-40 years knowledge try and help you.

I've never said that I don't practice my short game and putting. I've never said that the short game is unimportant. I've never said that the short game is less important than the long game. Too many forumites have been putting words into my mouth (so to speak). I've only ever said I wanted to hit the ball long like the pros do.
