Just thinking about possible change of irons layer this year and was wondering if anyone knows a rough price I might get for my callaways. They are in top condition, little wear really as only really played regulary since October and prob only played less than twenty rounds before that since I bought them in 2004. Clubs are 3-sw.

Seen a few sets going on fleabay at £200 which seems very high to me.

a friend of mine just bought some 2nd hand X22s for £190 so be surprised if they go for more than £150, that said on ebay sometimes you do see some real strange prices

I paid £180 3-SW about a year ago. Spot on if you ask me.

I'm surprised you are thinking of changing. One of the best sets of irons going, and unthinkably forgiving.

They are in the top 20 all-time in Ralph Maltby's MPF. Given that most of the top 10 are gimmick/hybrid/specialist clubs, I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find better.

Maybe I should sell mine and buy yours? Mine have seen a LOT of action.

We are all tempted by the shiny things sometimes!! Just a thought at the moment, chances are I prob won't be able to afford it but a bit of planning never hurt!!
