I am looking at getting new 3 and 5 woods. I have been looking at the Callaway Diablo Edge and Diablo Edge tour 3 and 5 wood. Anyone got or tried them?

Decent unfussy woods. Like any other club, important to get the right shaft type and flex to get the best out of them.

I really do like older Callaway woods, but for me Taylormade RBZ beat them hands down, if your not on a budget. If you are on a budget Callaway woods are great and will do the job.

I have both the 3 and 5 woods and I love them! Easy to hit from tee or the deck and they give a nice mid-high ball flight.The 5 is easy to use even from the rough with a steeper swing.

I have tried an RBZ with 3 different shafts on it and I hated it.
Didn't like the feel of it in my hands, struggled to get the ball away nicely off the tee and the deck and didn't have any confidence with it with any of the shafts. I thought I would have loved it, nice dep face, great sould off the face but I didn't.
Had a go with a friends Diablo edge and loved it from the first shot, that's why I thought I would get the opinion of you guys to either back it up or dispell it.

Go on Andy,get one! Only about £50ish on ebay? My Diablo Edge 3 wood is the only 3 wood I have ever had any luck with!

Really is a great club, try the JPX800 as well, that is what I replaced my one with.

Regular - felt like an elastic band.
Stiff - Inconsistant strikes even though the video said otherwise.
X Stiff - Horrible shaft never felt "right".
They even changed it for another X Stiff and felt the same.
It's a personal thing and they didn't feel right for me.
