Has anyone used this company before, as I need a caddy for my daughter. Not sure if £50ish is expensive for this service

Just looked at Caddy Hire. Sounds reasonable perhaps a tad pricey.
What do you pay somebody for 3-4 hours work, particularly if they are good at there job?
St Andrews is about the same price.

P.S. Where is she playing (I'll do it for £45:D)

Gay Hill Golf Club, would do it myself but have no knowledge of the course & asked about & most people have never heard of it or just laugh at the name :)

Spend the £50 on a day out to research the course then you can carry your daughters bag with a bit of local knowledge and you get a day out too! :-)

My mate is a caddy at Kingsbarns they have a set fee plus they also get a decent tip, so could be costly. If possible go walk the course beforehand so you have some knowledge and guide her round.

Have you thought about contacting the club? I'll wager there are a few juniors who know the course backwards and would only be too happy to earn a few quid, ask the pro if he can recommend someone

we used to do this as juniors at SPGC, we got paid about £100 for 3 rounds over 2 days, and we knew some weird angled of attack as kids, trying to hit the 6th from the wrong side of the 6th fairway made it a bloody hard hole.
