I thought I'd do a bit of shopping this weekend for some new shorts, not the sporting type, smart casual type. I popped into Primarni and there were loads to choose from BUT they all were button fly. Why is this???? Just why have clothing manufacturers not putting the new fangled zips in anymore? Not just Primarmi, but River Island as well. I gave up after these two. I'm going to trawl the charity shops at home. Maybe they'll have some.

I think There's Something About Mary scared everyone

I like Gap but the nearest is miles away. I nearly went in the two we passed at the weekend but didn't dare as wifey would have rolled her eyes so far they would have been able to get them back in place.
Fatface? We got one of those, but it seems jumbled mess in there.

The speed I needed to de bag as I marched through the station heading for the bog, there was not time to mess about with piggin' buttons!

Mmm perhaps a word with your GP about some 'prescription pants' might be in order. And as Phil's alluded to, a zip is the last thing you want if you're in that much haste!

Although you might think of getting yourself a PSR (P standing for... well you know) Everyone should have a PSR (consider getting a lesson from your Pro, most are very experienced in taking the p)

As usual Posture, Grip & Alignment are key but go easy on the number of practice swings and remember to hold that finishing position just a bit longer than you think

As with golf some don't manage well in front of a group, others thrive on it
Make sure you have the correct footwear (plenty water hazards out there) and get fitted for zip length
Others in your group should adopt the HNSP (this should be strictly observed)

T'is a big place is Cheshire! :D The Oaks for the possibility of getting pants with new fangled zips is a bit much...and at increased cost. Nope, I'll check out Gap's online. Next shops are all buttons too.

I know, I grew up there and pop back to see relatives a few times a year. I didn't know how close you are to the Oaks. We pop in every so often when we go back and give it some hammer there. I do love a Gap outlet, never pay full price ha ha.

Not a big fan of buttons me self, Crazyface. Its what comes of havin sausages for fingers I'm afraid.:(
Yes,( i type wistfully ), i was told at an early age i'd never play the piano. :mmm:

Thought we were going to get a sob story about being so tiny that your little fella keeps popping out through the buttons😳

After years of using zips I do have a, now, in built movement that facilitates a , sometimes much needed, speedy release of said "little fella", and as I advance in years, according to what I read, this will come increasingly required. On one occasion in London a few years ago, after a few (lots) late night scoops and getting dumped by the tube quite a distance from my hotel I luckilly found a large bush and dived in to find relief. If buttons had been involved on that occasion I'd have been soaked.
