Business Consultant Speak

We've got a guy at work who we actually score word bingo against...I work in HR and Recruitment and the consultants are always full of BS phrases, we've nicknamed all our account managers BS men.

Anyway the guy in question is always:

Being devils advocate, cutting a long story short, looking for a quick win.

Everyone is also just the person he's looking for and he's constantly telling us where he is coming from.

I wouldn't mind if the guy knew what he was on about,or if he used modern BS sayings, but he's recycling old stuff from David Brent!

I also hate workflows, anyone tries to show me a workflow, I'm asleep
 
I once walked out of a big meeting and told the guy that unless he could converse using plain and simple English I wouldn't be coming back. Apparently he got completely flustered and the nitty gritty was the corporate flannel covered the fact that the core content was crap and the arguments flawed.
 
Waste of time and money if you ask me. A load of hot air which anyone could dream up and they charge a fortune for it. I know if I ever own my own company or become a manager/director I certainly wont be hiring any of them
