Burnham and berrow - advice please

Sorry mate, only just seen this. Had some phone issues the past 2 weeks so havent been on here.

It was tough sunday, rough is up now and the wind switched in between rounds - i hit 2iron GW to the SI1 (7th) in the morning, and driver 5iron in the afternoon!!

normally the cut off for the event is less than 4 but because it was moved to a sunday this year (they had originally scheduled it the same weekend as the West of England @ Saunton) entries were a lot lower!1

Been watching this thread with interest - playing here for the first time next Wednesday in an Open 3 ball Stableford. Been on my "to play" list for sometime. V Excited.

If you hit a long straight one down the middle of 7 you can end up in some clagg in the middle of the fairway. Happened to me once and I wasn't happy. God knows why it's there.

Years ago it was a natural water hazard (from my long and distant memory from about 30 years ago)

I'll always remember losing out on the longest drive prize on one hole by about ten inches. My ball had been stopped by the only patch of long grass on the/in the middle of the fairway.
