Burhill or Coombe Hill

Hi All,

These are my shortlist that i've narrowed it down for membership.

Would like to know everyone's preference and advice.....

Best

Craig I did a review on Coombe Hill on here in April. If you search on the top right hand blue box 'Coombe Hill' you should find it. Unfortunately I have no idea how to attach the link on this thread.:(

I have just received a fourball voucher from them for the H4H day, so they must be a nice Club !!!!

Where do you live. What are the travelling distances. Have you asked about joining and the chance to play and check out the facilities. I find Coombe Wood a bit of fiddly course but always in great condition

I think that the OP is looking at Coombe Hill Homer, not Coombe Wood. A world of difference methinks.

That's what I meant. I agree there is a world of difference but still find "Wood" fiddly in places and it doesn't flow for me. Teach me to try and follow a FB group about the Coombe Wood area, watch the footie and talk to the wife. Me bad though

The cross over holes at Coombe Hill are my biggest bugbear and although there aren't any at Coombe Wood, I have never enjoyed the course and prefer Burhill as a course

 Sorry no idea what you are talking about.

Coombe Hill has two holes where you walk around another tee (Is that what you mean by a cross over hole ?). Personally didn't worry me, but then I do that at my place.

I take it you will not be bidding on the H4H fourball at Coombe Hill then.
