Builders = Lazy

There's currently repair work underway on the roofs of our row of factories this month.

I've been in work since 8.30 - it's now 10.30 - there's two builders in the van - one is reading the paper and one is asleep.

I'm in the wrong job.

Probably can't start til there's three of them for some health and safety reason. One to go up the ladder, one to hold the ladder, and one to make the tea.

Me?? I'm sitting in a builders van watching this other guy looking out his window, what a cushy number he has as well, waiting for my material to arrive - it is so late I'll be here till 10 tonight and as I priced this job, no extra cash!!

lol, i must be dreaming this im sleeping in a van and my buddy is looking at some office geek looking at us.

Its called day work!!! if you put a price in to do a job u get it done and clear off. If your havent got a lot of work on then your boss prices a job on day rate and tells u to hang it out so he can get a days money for it! Trust me im a roofer i know how it works.
