Just want to confirm that Smiffy had it spot on.
I had some other things to do in the area and I can tell you that no way would anybody of sound mind play golf in those conditions.
Gutted that we couldn't play and the poor weather is partly the reason I haven't re-joined a club this year.

I felt a bit guilty calling it off Chris, but think I got it right in the end.
Cooden is not the place to be when the wind is up like that, it would have made it almost impossible, and when I drove by the course later in the day I only saw one youngster out there braving it, and he was having trouble standing up!
It's a shame because Tuesday was superb and this morning is looking a lot better, although I've got work today....
We'll fit a game in there soon mate, just as soon as the better weather comes along.
 
got to say Rob it was horrible yesterday . and as much asi tried to goad you a bit ,i wouldnt have played in that either.
had a mate that fished a match yesterday ,he has just spoken to me to say it was almost a waste of time ,couldnt hold the pole at longer than five metres as it was being blown all over the place .
