Most could care less with this post. I've recently purchased a Dewalt 54v brush cutter to clear the local trails with. It comes with a Dewalt 3 arm blade that does an ok job of clearing berry vines/thick grass. I bought an Oregon 2 arm mulching blade that is awesome at clearing the brambles.....but it is too big and sucks the life right out of the batteries....and probably makes the motor work way too hard. Stihl makes a mulching blade that is 270mm instead of the 310mm of the Oregon blade....perfect.....but the hole in the blade is 20mm and I need it to be near-as-damnit to 25mm. Where would you go to get that hole bored out (accurately) from 20mm to 25mm?

The Oregon blade came with a loop that would reduce it to 20mm. But the hole I need is 25mm....so I need to find a way to get the hole drilled out to 25mm. That blade is just so big...and heavy.

Here is a link to the blade I was going to buy https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/pro...0-iTC0dmWAGghtvrzAiUStho7-e_W5a8aAl78EALw_wcB

As mentioned before, the Oregon blade I bought to try out has a 25mm hole (which fits the Dewalt that I have), but comes with a small ring that you can put in the hole so you can use it on a brush cutter that has a smaller centre area where the blade would sit. The point I was after.....if I were to buy this blade with the smaller hole, where would a person go to get it drilled out accurately...I've no idea who to look up. And....if it cost too much I would just stick with the blade that came with the brush cutter, which works, but isn't as good as the mulching type blade which does a great job of reducing the berry vines into much smaller pieces....and a heck of a lot faster.

I take it from your post you are in the US, have you tried a local machine shop?

Can frjones not do it themselves in their workshop?
