Brucie Steps Down

Presenting the type of programmes Brucie has over the years is not easy. I remember when Max Bygraves took over one of his programmes, play your cards right I think, and it was dreadful. He may not be my cup of tea, but obviously a lot like him otherwise he would have been on the scrapheap like a lot of the stars of the 70's. I hope I am capable of working to his age.

When was Henry last in anything on telly bar adverts ?

Remember watching a live show decades ago which was pretty funny

Sorry I disagree with that.............a blocked sink is much funnier.

Especially when you use bicarbonate of soda, salt and vinegar to clear it......spectacular.

I'll have to try that. :)

I have this recurring nightmare where I am invited to dinner at Lenny and Dawn's and I am never allowed to leave :(

ps I know they aren't together anymore but it's a dream, it doesn't have to make sense!

I have a distant memory of a really poor sitcom in the 70s which he featured in, thankfully it only lasted about 6 episodes. He also appeared on TISWAS on occasions.

I used to like Lennie Henry, but haven't seen him on the TV for years (apart from ads). Last one I can remember was the Lenny Henry Show, and his girlfriend was the lovely Gina McKee.
