broken nose

Get insurance and then accidentally clock him next time round,
1 of my pals 3 putted, flicked the ball up and hit it on the volley into the back of the head of another mate.
3 days later did the same again to the same guy, practice makes perfect:D
Not much of a mate when he does it a 2nd time with the same result, reckless the first time but a pie the 2nd.

If it was me & one of my mates id offer to pay or split his medical costs , once it was only the nose we would have a laugh over it .. have had my own smashed a few times , so much so the septum id still deviated & cant breathe through one side

MMMMM no comment on the insurance scam .. if he hit me doing the same thing as he did a few days earlier , there would be a broken nose alright , it wouldnt be mine ha ha ..................

Sounds like an accident.
The NHS should fix him up.
Luckily we have insurance included in our fees but I can't help feel that with the compensation culture some people would want to make a quick profit out of an innocent accident.

The only issue would be if he lost money through being off sick or having to take time out to go for hospital appointments. Otherwise have a laugh and carry on. It was an accident and these things happen. Buy him a drink when he's feeling better and move on

The driver one is just an honest accident the putter one is just plain out of order and he should be wearing the putter!

Easy to puff your chest out on a keyboard I suppose, BUT, the first time I'd have been a bit miffed but would have laughed it off, the second time the guy would be wearing his putter as a necklace, friend or not.

How many times do you stand behind someone who hits a bad shot, you think to walk up for your shot just as they take another swing whilst thinking about the last one..... Always make sure your partner is finished and walking off before you venture anywhere near them.... Total accident on the original post, should be covered by NHS, and the club should have some policy in place for members...

On a lighter note, I was drawing my 9 iron out of my bag on Saturday during the medal, only a light two finger grip but as the club cleared the bag, the grip caught one of the other clubs causing the club to flick backward smashing myself in the mouth...... I say smashing, probably not that hard, but it was still hard enough to give me a fat lip, loosen the incisor it hit and put a 1inch gash on the inside of my mouth where the tooth went through ....
