Got 85 yesterday at at lamberhurst GC today I finally broke 85 with an 83. Still, left the course with a not so happy mindset for a few reasons :
1. Was even through 5 holes even though I missed three 8 footers for birdie.
2. Was 3 over on the turn !
3.had a 3 ball in front of us who were obviously not members. Disobeyed the rules twice ( didn't let us through on the 12th as they were supposed to and teed of on a tee under repair even though it clearly specified not to!)
4. The worst of all :
The 18th is a 280 yard par 4 that is too short for my driver, as proved by the last round I played there.
The 3 ball was on the green so I decided to hit a 3 wood, and didn't think I would reach. Hit a great draw and it rolled straight onto the green, about 25ft from the pin, and right in the middle of the now very moody 3 ball. The walked off and didn't offer me to apologise, and I carried on to 4 putt ! Really let the good seem bad.
How do you get over something like that ?
