Don't know what it's like where you are, but here in the Midlands it is like one tropical downpour after another. Our course drains really well, but even there it is now getting a bit boggy!

The course is relatively deserted too and it's really sad just as we hit what should be the peak of the season.

No wonder people go and live in Spain; Just as well I'm injured at the moment!

Is anyone escaping this?

I think i'm east enough to be missing it, lets hope so anyway because i'm looking to get 9 holes in tonight.

It is far too hot to play golf in Spain at the moment, 40+ degrees you might fit in 18 first thing in the morning but since courses don't open until 8am you will get 8 holes them the dreaded Sun, same goes for late afternoons and course closure times.

I agree though May was wonderful weather and this summer has been crap, in fact playing last weekend the course felt like in winter condiction as the fairways where soggy with no run.

Had a lovely sunny 18 this morning , hat on cos of the sunburn too. Played well , took the money , all is good in the world.

Midweek medal tomorrow and another cut awaits , love it here on the East coast :D

Just relocated from Wisbech to Cheshire. Why oh why oh why!!!
For sale. 5 pairs of shorts, will swap for set of good waterproofs and umbrella.

Played this morning and it only really rained for 1/2 hour or so. Light drizzle the rest of the time. Didn't affect play at all. And the ground is still pretty firm around here.
