hapless' what you have to consider is that these are going out untrained for the most part, and performing cold. much as I loved Alison Moyet's voice I've never heard her perform under similar conditions, and a lot of established artists can't do it.
can't say it's my sort of music so her next performance will be interesting, whereas funny as the Flatleys were, I can't see what they can have to follow.
I can't go along with the eulogy for Opportunity Knocks; Hughie Green was terrible and some really weird acts used to win.

Viscount. I understand your point, but I did say that some were good singers. Lets put it this way, even if I could sing, would I have the guts to go and do what she did? No way.
