Bridgestone walking away from UK golf....

I might have to try the Callaway balls, got a dozen warbird lake balls as a birthday present, using them as winter balls and really like them. Assuming the modern equivalent has been improved upon, I'd definitely give it a go.

Well you got to hand it to titleist, the most expensive premium ball on the market and going strong. Makes you wonder how they survive if the rumour is true that they did steal patent from them for the original ProV? Yet Bridgestone being one of the biggest rubber manufacturers can't outsell titleist? The power of advertising and branding?

I know your not swinging from the rafters about Bridestone pulling out of UK, but I did here that the only true golf ball manufacturers are Bridgestone Callaway and Srixon, do you know if it's true?

How exactly do you steal a patent?

How exactly do you steal a patent?
I know a few years ago Titleist had to resign the pro v as it 'breached' a number of patents from Bridgestone.

The ball that breached them was probably the best pro v they had ever made hence pros refusing to change and a number of top amateurs buying them (cheaper) by the truck load when they were being withdrawn.

Pretty sure that tigers original Nike ball was a Bridgestone too.

After losing a B330 RX early in the round, I finished it off with a Callaway Chrome Soft, so that will be my new ball from now on, although I may get a few Bridgestones for Christmas.

Stick with the Chrome Softs Fish, even I can hit them over 200yards !!!!! Lovely feel off of the putter too!!

Just picked up 10 dozen B330 tours for £195! Silly money!

£45 a dozen for Pro Vs? Nah your ok.

where from mendie?

im torn between bulk buying Bridgestones or The Vice Pro with my logo on them?
Just got 18 Vice Pro's from a lake all company. But I love the 330s.

Tis a shame, was looking at a set of j40's this week, they looked awesome and almost come home with me

I know most folk are focusing on their balls but their clubs are excellent! The J40's are brilliant irons which feel super soft (i've had 3 sets) and as someone mentioned earlier their wedges are top class. They also did a decent line of woods with the J40's with nice PX shafts as stock, 445cc and 430cc driver head options.

I'm sure they'll still be knocking about second hand and be available from the US if folk really want them.

Golf support.com but I'd never used them before so emailed clubhouse golf and they matched it.

Homer, they should last me at least 2 seasons. At that price I'm going to buy more.
Cheers mate, Our pro sells them and does price match😃

I bought 2 doz of their 'Extra Soft' golf balls for £17.99 from American Golf and have found them to be amazingly good for less than a pound each!
