Bridgestone J33 Driver

Hi

I had one in 12 Degree with a Reg Aldila NVS shaft. It is a very solid driver BUT also very unforgiving. I dont remember ever really hitting it well. It has a pretty small sweetspot and seems to be very low spin. It is definately designed for low handicap players (I am a 9 and i wasnt good enough). I sold it on eventually.

Hope that helps

I would agree with Edgey, I had one in stiff aldila NV (a user friendly shaft). It went ok but it didn't inspire. It didn't go especially well for me on either length or control. Decent enough but not as good as my Ping G10 or my current Nike SQ.

Stuart Appleby used to hit his miles of course when he was a Bridegstone guy.

Cheers guys,

I had heard that it's harder to hit than Posh Spice's a**e with a banjo.
It's a good looking driver though with a decent shaft in it.I've hit the stiff one in a friends D2 and liked that combo. Whether that is easier to hit or not i'm not sure.
I'll probably leave it but £59 is a bargain in anyone's money.

The J33 is a good player's club. If you want a very forgiving driver or one which will correct a slice, look elsewhere. VS proto is a good shaft, and is the shaft the Voodoo is based on.
