Great card. UFC constantly deliver great cards and match ups. Boxing could definitely learn on that front.Watch UFC 299 & tell me MMA isn’t better than boxing.

Just caught up on the Wardley Clarke fight. Great watch and for once not disappointed with a draw.
When you think about it, Clarke was knocked down and had the point deducted. The judge who scored it for him said he won by 115-112. I know the rounds were close but that result seems a bit out there. How much must Clarke be regretting that petulant little low shot that lost him a point?

Draw was the right result. Wardley would need to tighten up in the re-match (if there is one). If he did, he has a decent chance of winning.Just caught up on the Wardley Clarke fight. Great watch and for once not disappointed with a draw.

I really didn’t see Holloway getting the win,but he looked unreal.UFC 300 didn’t fail to deliver, what a card. Pereira looked awesome, Figueiredo started it off in style and Jiri was clinical. Most of the 13 fights were good to watch. The bonuses on offer did their job.
It was a brilliant advert for MMA. I wish boxing could take a leaf out of their book in terms of the approach to protecting the zero. All of the fighters on the card, with the exception of 6 fight new comer Nickal, have lost fights. The important thing is the matchmaking and the fact a loss or two (or more) doesn’t destroy your career. It’s much more about the performance.
Speaking about performance, Holloway vs Gaethje, wow! Amazing from two of my favourites. For Holloway to finish a 5 round war in that fashion, when he’s ahead on the scorecards might be the most incredible finish I’ve seen.

I’ll be watching & cheering for Usyk.Just over a week from Fury v Usyk, no sign of a postponement so far
Having generally swerved the PPV options, am wondering if this one might live up to the hype. Is anyone else hovering on the fence?
Me. Its 25 notes. I could go 'alternative' but that's not always reliable. I need to look at the undercard as that may sway me.Just over a week from Fury v Usyk, no sign of a postponement so far

I’m strongly fancying a Fury win. By KO. There’s a couple of decent undercard fights.Just over a week from Fury v Usyk, no sign of a postponement so far

But what are you basing this off? Usyk has had 5 fights at heavyweight (in nearly 5 years). He beat Chaz Wetherspoon, who retired on his stool. He then went the distance with Chisora. Following that he fought Joshua twice. One he won convincingly, the other not so much. His last fight against Dubois probably could have been counted as a KO loss. He was a great cruiserweight and there’s no doubting his boxing pedigree. I just feel Fury will be much to much for him.Fury was lucky in his previous fight, this wont be easy for Fury.
I really do hope he gets sent packing back to his caravan in tears.
