Whats everyone up to today ?. Woke up this morning to hurricane like winds so no Boxing Day Hack for me like we have every year, of to Dens Park to see Dundee vs Morton then the Sister in Laws for round 2 on the swally.

Home from a 10m bracing walk with hubbie and our old running pal - suitably named Noel :)

Back out with Max later and then feet up!! Having a chocolate-free day to give my system a break !!

Lazy day with a cuppa rate of almost 3 an hour this morning. Just watching a mate playing (and opening the scoring) for Oxford Utd, then I'll take the dog out for an hour's wander.

Sitting in feeling sorry for myself, I look forward to Christmas day so much, then when it's over I feel like a deflated balloon. Still I'm having a knock with my good mate tomorrow so let's hope for fine weather.

Watched a bit of it Robo not much football played there to be honest, remember Oxford when they were in the top flight.

went up the golfy with the 2iron and hit some balls over 9 holes, winds pretty strong.

going to feed the horses and chickens later and a jog before dinner then bugger all for the rest of the night.

Been a very lazy day so far, mainly playing with my little girl and the ridiculous amount of toys she got yesterday :)

Off to a family bash at a local boozer about 5pm so trying to find the willpower to get back on the sauce!

Golfing tomorrow and looking forward to it.

Been out for a round with the old man and a friend this morning in hurricane conditions and had a complete stinker with only 19 points! On the plus side I did win longest drive, as I was the only one to hit the fairway on the 7th with a massive pull into the trees that rattled around for awhile and popped out on the fairway no more than 120 yards infront of me!

Just had Xmas dinner fry up and then off down the pub for a few cheeky ones.

Out on the range hitting some balls today, not cold but very windy! I felt I needed some practice as there are some games to be played before New Year. St Andrews, Eden tomorrow, Rosemount on Wednesday and hopefully Gullane on Friday! :whoo:

Big party at ours tonight.. All the kids friends parents from the village, my family and most of the missus family.. Am currently emptying the fridge of food so that I can fit in more booze... Tomorrow is going to be a long long day...

HID bought her grandson a bike - guess who spent the morning putting it together. (MuddyFox - not impressed with build quality!). No pump - so after delivering said bike, it was ho! for the shops to get one.
Boxing day is also traditionally mend the broken pressie day - so I also need a few tools I had neglected to bring, new soldering iron, solder, miniature pliers etc - bracelet repaired
It was also a queue in Argos to exchange a broken pressie - not too busy, very nice people, no receipt but no hassle - except . . . they only had one in store, I wait, my number is called but said pressie is nowhere to be found. Assistant very apologetic, goes on hunt. Supervisor wanders by, also very apologetic, also goes on hunt. Manageress wanders by, really very apologetic, she goes on hunt.
Eventually take the one from display, find box and guarantee - more apologies, original still not found.
Fortunately I was in an extremely chilled out frame of mind and just saw the funny side.

2 1/2 hours down the practice ground, then an hour walk through the woods to the pub. Three course lunch, beers, wine, £110 down, and home. In. Tv.
