After yesterdays shocking display with my Driver, an urgent call this morning to get in for a Driver lesson !!!

Ive never been a bad Driver of the Ball, but the last few months have seen me battling with a fade, rather than my usual draw with my irons, which is still present !
However, 'bad' drives were yesterday turned into 'unbeleivablybadpathetichugeslices' that the more I tried to cure, the worse they got. :D :D

In contrast, the 18yr old playing with me was bombing his 905R 300yds down the fairway with a perfect draw.

Much work me thinks to obtain same.

I'll report back later today !!!

I have a similar problem,

Used to slice - got it sorted - started to come back in!

Will be interested to here what your pro says!

I am seeing mine tomorrow!

ive got the same problem, for a long time iv been very consistent with my 3 wood and getting good distances. then for some reason like you, i cant stop slicing them, and again like you ive tried to correct it, but it just gets worse. i am planning on getting lessons when i come back off holiday

My driving has been my lynchpin recently but I'm not getting the old draw and starting to hit a few blocks/slices right but I'm pretty sure a lot of it is me trying to hit it too hard and get too many moving parts going in my swing. I'm holding off on a lesson and hoping its a blip and a more relaxed quieter swing will help

Was having the same problem for the past couple of weeks, getting through the shot and everything going right, either blocked or sliced. Went to the range yesterday, one with a mirror behind you and I noticed that the club head at the top of the backswing was way out of alignment. I played around trying to fix this and came to the conclusion that keeping the left arm (for a right hander) straight for as long as possible on the backswing keeps the club head from crossing the line at the top of the backswing. Did this and slowed the tempo and started hitting the ball with a wee draw again. Hope this helps.
