Bonus for introducing Members

I noticed in a previous post someone mentioned they recieved £200 off their fees for introducing new members!
Do any other clubs offer such incentives? and if so how much?

We have just introduced a bar credit of £250,once the introduced member pays their second years membership.

You get £100 put ON your bar bill. Is that a punishment?!
We give £50 credit which equates to £65 as we get 30% reduction in prices over the bar. We also have to spend our annual bar levy of £50 by 31st March or we lose it. You should see the rush in the last week by the tight 4rses for bottles of red wine!!

I suggested it at our club this year where the new member gets there first year membership half price and the member gets something off for the introduction.

We don't have any incentive as such, but as I am about to introduce someone I guess an enquiry to check would'nt go amiss.

I always assumed the way you fly off the handle so quickly Homer you must be a drinker!! unless it's another type of substance you use!!

As far as I'm aware we have nothing like this - might suggest it.

Nope - don't have such a scheme. As far as I know, there's still a waiting list to get in, so makes me think why would they hand out readies?

Sadly my drinking days stopped on July 8th 2006. I never smoked or did drugs so no other substances to blame. This is me. Pure and simple (well definitely simple)

That was me.

Actually, our incentive offered £200 per member introduced, We could choose to add it to the bar tab, take it off our next year membership or give/ split with the introduced member. I split 50/50 with both of my mates.

Thanks for all your comments , we currently have no incentive at our club and to tell you the truth ive never thought of it either until now that is.
But i have introduced two new members already this year so im missing out lol lol , i will be asking them now though!!!
