Played bonnyton today. Absolutely blown away with the condition of that course, it was bone dry and in pristine condition. Views were also unbelievable only negative thing is on the back 9 just felt as if a good few of the holes had been jammed in. Some of the tee shots if you slice or hook your on another green. If the course had been a bit bigger on the back 9 I would be 100% joining. Still undecided. Lovely course and played with two members today really nice guys. Green had been cored this week so putting was a little hard and probably cost me a few shots but still got 9 over.

Is that handicap for real?
Some of your scores are insane ?
Great photos btw ?
Yes my official handicap is 24 but last card I handed in was in the summer. Only ever played one competition. I am currently working with two pros and practice on my home sim so have seen a huge improvement past few months. Still do have the odd blow up game but now starting to break 80 at least once a week. so I would expect my real handicap to be around 12ish the now and hopefully single figures by end of season. That’s the plan anyway.

Excellent shooting sir, good luck with it ?
And as Bobmac said in another thread, I’m not playing with you for money off that handicap ?

Played there for my 40th .
Great course but a lot of midgies in summer.
One thing it’s a Jewish owned course ( or was then)so no asking for a bacon sarnie.
Looks good and shows the green staff are up on their work tining the greens.

Yea the two guys I played with told me about the course still very much being Jewish and no bacon or shellfish. That wouldn’t bother me as I don’t eat seafood and not really a fan of bacon I’ll take it the odd time. It definitely the best condition course in the area and best views just didn’t like the way the 12/13/14 and 15th felt cramped in.

One massive advantage is as a member you can play any Jewish course in the World free.
That was the way 25yrs ago anyway not sure about now.
I was a member of one and have played scores of courses .
I remember one hole had a map of the horizon showing the mountains.
A very nice place to play your golf ,you are very lucky.
Feeling a bit jealous now.(y)
