series 1 was on the slow side but worth sticking with, looking forward to getting some time to watch 2 & 3 as things should start to pick up quickly

watched it from episode one series one,its the best thing on tv,series 3 a bit slower as all the major roles have been established so no need for back stories,i think nooky is in for a bit of trouble from HID and his step son!!!!!!!!

Was looking forward to it when it launched to fill a Soprano's shaped gap but maybe expected too much of it. It does not hold a candle to The Soprano's IMO.

Damn right. I have the boxset. Watched it 4 times. Watched it in HD on Sky atlantic and now watching it from beginning again and still picking up things I missed.

That's the mark of a good show or movie for me. You can watch & rematch it without getting bored or fed up. It still captivates your attention.

Watched boardwalk from the start and am a fan of, only seen episode 1 and 2 of season 3 so far but it may be a little slow, it's certainly building up
agree with the comments on here re the Sopranos which was and still is the best thing ever on tv (only fools just behind though) but is anybody watching Homeland? Very clever and the acting is top notch

I watched the 86 episodes of the Sopranos with the wife in 3 months. Loved it and can't see anything bettering it although The Wire was decent but different.
Homeland is also pretty good and can't believe C4 managed hold onto the rights.
