Anyone going this week? Me and the old man are planning to go on Saturday. Properly looking forward to it as we had a great couple of days golf watching at last year's event and also at the Seniors Open.
 
Got a season ticket for the week. Only missing out on the Tuesday practice day and the Friday. Should be a good week, a shame some of the bigger names aren't coming but still a good field.
 
I went last year on the Saturday and really enjoyed it. I have a chance to go again this year for the weekend with some leftover hospitality tickets (fingers crossed).
 
Yet again, torn on the PGA Pro-Am at Wentworth. On the one hand it raises money for a superb charity, on the other, they wheel out all the usual suspects......Jamie Rednapp, Ian Botham Piers Morgan, Kevin Pieterson, Niall One Direction, Shane Warne, Peter Schmeichel, Michael Vaughn, Ruud Gullit Nigel Mansell etc etc, Why not put a junior golfer in each group aswell ? I just think they could do a bit more.
 
Only tickets for the Grandstand on the 18th are now showing on the website. I'm guessing that tickets are still available on the gate and that they haven't sold out?!
 
I've been going for the past 3-4 years.

Went yesterday to the practice day for the first time. Great weather. Just wandered round by myself and chilled out.

But paid £13 for a burger and chips :eek:. Ouch.

Didn't really see any of the main players. But enjoyed it non the less.

Got tickets for me and a m8 on Sunday again. 18th Grandstand seats as well. Looking forward to it.

If you are going Sunday and don't have grandstand seats yet I'd suggest getting some if you want to see closing groups come in. They were 10 deep around the 18th the last few years and you probably won't get much of a view.
 
Showing some celebrity putting comp and it's boring after about a minute and going to drag ! They are showing the whole of it. Certainly dragging the dregs to show something
 
Well that's very interesting and great to hear from that guy from One Direction , sponsering golfers , trying to help out the Amatuer game in Ireland and sponsering Challenge Tour events - he can do a lot of good for golf

PS - Radar is a compete clown !

We went Friday last year. It was fairly busy but only majorly so around the groups with the big names. If you are looking to get a seat in any of the stands you need to be there a decent time before the main groups go through.

Cheers. I just want to see Willet as well las Westwood for a little bit. They are starting right after each other.
After that, everybody will still be a great golfer.
