Bloody municipal courses......

we don't suffer from the chav syndrome, instead it's the dimwits that so far, perhaps unfortunately, have been living a charmed life.

there is an adjoining hotel, plus residencial training courses and despite notices, warnings from reception (at least I assume that they would warn them), too many persist in going for a 'walk in the park'. stop them and explain, patiently, just what the risk is and at best you'll get a blank or bemused look.

worst one is the 'phantom jogger'. turns up three or four times a year and insists that it's 'his right' to run the course and that we golfers are just being selfish. never wears anything light coloured.

Make sure your insured and hit him that should stop him ;)

Ha ha, had a jogger appear on the course last week, appeared after the slightly sliced drive had been struck, the ball landed close to where he was running.

He nearly fell into the bushes as he jumped when it landed!!
