A couple of days ago i got a refrigerant burn on my hand and I now have a blister on the outside of my index finger. Its about 1 1/2" long and full of fluid.

What I'd like to know is would it be better to pop it and cover it up as Im playing this morning and it could be a bit annoying if it bursts halfway through my round.

Any budding medics on here?

Don't burst a blister! It's got fluid in it for a reason, nature is healing the burnt skin underneath, use a fabric or blister plaster and let nature do it's thing.

My gran (a walker) always popped them and duck taped them or just plastered (no fabric bit) them down but this was for emergencies only ie need to walk back - yours seems to fall into that category. If you can cope with it do as above (DV).
