blades or oversize playing off 18?

im my eyes i have good long game which i think i can hit long but my short game around the green lets me down. im very poor at chipping and my putting is normaly 2 putts or sometimes 3 which is bad. i had ago today with some taylor made os 2 rac irons which felt much nicer than my oiyo irons which i tend hit quite high. i dont seem to get much run with my irons.

hey got some custom fitted titleist 755 cb irons today hitting the 7 iton around 180-190 yards I was also given a titleist vokey wedge which needs a bit of clean up whats the best method to use?

to be honest and i was little carried away with 180-190 its more like 160-170 i just dont get time to play in comps at me golf club as i work there so i my hc should be lower.

welcome on board FG, how's Pat?...i played with blades for the last 15 odd years and took my handicap from 18 to 13 in one season. Only because i worked on my basics.
I have just treated myself to a new set of MP60's (of which i will be christening tomorrow in the club open) The best advice i can give you is go for what you feel is the most confortable. lets us know what you decide...
