Will be a quiet day on here today as the usual suspects are all soaking up the sun at Blackmoor, lucky bar stewards! So virtual book on the runners and riders.

Longest drive I have Pieman at 5/2 with Homer and Smiffy both at 100/1.

Overall winner Swinger and Justone good value at 6/1, outside bet on jammydodger at 16's or perhaps a punt on teegirl at 27/1.

Over to you chaps...

Whats the odds on Homer coming on here later with a 12 paragraph tale of woe and how unlucky he was and how he once again knew what he was doing wrong and how he will fix it.
Evens. :D

I'll have a virtual tenner on Losttheplot, and will donate a real tenner to RickG's Help For Heroes if he wins.

1/25?

Apparently bookies across the county have stopped taking bets on this one!

Worth a punt at "played some good and some bad....happy with 28 points."

Rule one, if Gary is in the field, back him, on what ever odds you can get.

Well done region 3, again.

It's getting boring now TBH! (Well done Gary).

Nice to meet you properly finally, Murph.

OS - Glad to see you made it home ok.

Just got in after the long drive back. :)

Why anyone would back me is humorous! :)
In fairness I have it a good go for you mate, went out in 6 over but wheels slipped off and came back in 9 over. Not good enough for any of the prizes unfortunately.

Cracking day, a huge thank you to Richard for all his hard work during the day and before. Thanks also to Smiffy for his hard work before the event. Without the efforts of folks like you, these days could never happen, thank you once again.

Great company on the course, a lot of very good banter. Quote of the day for me was "I didn't know you could shank a driver!"

Already looking forward to the next event :)

Well, thanks for trying, mate!
I'll bung a tenner in the Help for Heroes kitty anyway, in honour of a valiant attempt.

Shows you what you know smartarse - too tired to post yesterday. However to keep you happy - played like king of the knobs in the 9 hole round in the morning but hit it much better in the afternoon. Greens were too tricky to score on but got 29 pts off 7/8ths and had a great day with Smiffy and his mates. Happy now?

My predictions about Blackmoor proved to be correct.
I completed the round with all the clubs I set out with, played like a knob and nearly came last. Bit annoying as I played quite well in the morning 9-holer - lunchtime saw my game stay in the bar supping 1664 all afternoon because it certainly deserted me apart from the 14th - easy drive, 8 iron to 15 feet and drained the birdie - simple game for 1 hole!
