It's very similar to the curve, I'm pretty sure it's the same OS, so the main differences are the larger screen, option of landscape layout and the choice of touch screen or keyboard.
If you like your curve, I think you will also like the torch, if you hate the curve, I don't think the torch is going to mysteriously save the day!
