Black Satin and Black Oxide - The Difference

Hi

Some of you may have seen my thread yesterday with regards to black wedges.

Here's a question for you all, what is the difference(s) between a head given a finish of black satin, compares to black oxide?

Not seen many oxide finishes but the ones I have had a darker more industrial powdercoat style finish wheres the satin ones have a more subtle black finish with a shine to it.
Both will get scraped and scored in no time either way.

Which ones go rusty?

Black Satin is normally a painted/coated process.

Black Oxide is a chemical one.
