I know #2 so painfully well. I can usually muster 14-15 decent enough holes and will always chuck several double bogey or worse in. Never the same hole, never the same shot and really annoying

Of al places to get a birdie, Lindrick. I was in golfing heaven. if you want to be bored reading about it. I have put it in the Lindrick thread but for about 15 minutes playing that hole I was in Zanadu. :whoo:

I had a couple last year which I was really happy with as I'm only just starting out and played 10 rounds, one on a par 4 and chip in from off the green on a par 3.
had a few birdie opertunities on Saturday alone, the greens were a bit rough though so not reading too much into it and just looking forward to the season ahead.

Well Mr birdie turned up again today and I had a chance at another two or three. The pleasing thing I suppose is that I am making birdies on differant holes. hopefully that bodes well.
