Birdies.

I'm not in the class of many on here and can only claim to have done 2 birdies in the same round on one occasion. On a yearly basis my birdies are in single figures. I tend to look at how many different holes on my course I have birdied. I have managed 10 so far after 2 and a half years which is about 170 rounds.

can honestly say I have never had a birdie. only started playing last summer, so hopefully in time they will come.

A par is major achievement for me at the moment!

I had 5 birdies on the front 9 at my previous club in a competition, 3 of them on the belt for my first sub 80 round, I walked into the clubhouse 6 inches taller that day 😎

I think i get quite a few for where my hc is. Mainly on par 3s.

Play a lot more social than competitive golf and have only had 1 in competition.

Away courses I have more luck in. Twice Ive had 3, even managed an eagle.

Thought id only had 1 this year, but I got 2 the other week

I'm no birdie machine usually, have only played a full 18 once this year so far - winter league knock out last week. Other than that, played the front 9 about 8 times. Have had one or two birdies every round so far this year - nothing worse than 4 over gross for the front 9 in any round, and yesterday shot my best front 9 ever, being one over gross (1 birdie, 2 bogies). Had a chip in birdie last week from 30 yds out, and sunk a 50 foot putt for one on our par 5 yesterday. Quite enjoying my golf at the moment :D

I don't make many, but I have had 3 in a row once and 4 in a round a couple of times. So far this year I have only had 4 in 8 rounds.

Like Tashyboy's club we use Handicapmaster whose online service - Masterscoreboard - has a feature which can be set to show achievements such as 2s, birdies, eagles, holes in one etc..

We have just had a the first of 2 stages of major changes to the course with 6 new holes replacing previous holes including a change of order. On the card, 3 par 5s are replaced by 2 par 3s and a par 4. Year on year, Masterscoreboard now shows me as having 93 birdies - beat that.

I have two objectives for this year:

1. Reduce HC to 9.4 or better
2. Play at least one round with no double bogies

What I'd do to eliminate those. My 3 best rounds this year have been...

+8 with a double and a treble on two occasions
+9 with two doubles

In each of those rounds I've chucked in a double or treble in the first 2 holes. I'm hoping it's because it's been too dark for me to warm up before I tee off - time will tell.

Mr birdie turned up again today, along with my best score ever 86, 20 points front nine 23 on the back nine.
