Hi All

Just been told by the guy at the range that I need bigger grips as my hands over lap my fingers on my jumbo grips.

He suggested getting some squash racket grips and putting them over the top. Anybody else done this or have any better ideas? :)

Check out john dalys grips in the last edition of golf monthly extra thick kangaroo leather grips that will last at least 8 years though they are a bit pricey at 40 quid go but i think they do cheaper ones at around 10 quid

I brought back Jumbo grips from America and re-gripped my own clubs. I think I paid about $40 for the grips (Golf Pride) and $10 for a roll of double sided tape it took me about 1 hour to re-grip them. If you want any information please get in touch. I re-grip my clubs usually every year - 18 months.

It suggests mid size + 4 layers.

Interesting, I might get one club done :)

Keep us informed - the table suggests that i use std +4 as well.

I have a ping midsize on my driver, I do think its a great job in terms of comfort. But then again it is my worst club so I cant really compare it.

Well I went to SprtsDirect on the way home (from the range) and got my self 3 grips for £5. Think they are general purpose grips, squash or tennis.

Ive put 1 on so far, quite tight, and they feel really really good. So much more comfortable grip all over.

Bit spongey and I can see them not lasting long going in and out of the bag as they seem a bit fragile.

Off to the range tomoro, blister an all, to see if they work :)
